The primary difference between 2D (two-dimensional) animation and 3D (three-dimensional) animation lies in the way the images are created and presented. 2D animation has Flat Images, Traditional Animation Techniques and Limited Perspective while 3D animation has Three-Dimensional Space, Key-framing and Rigging and Realistic Depth and Perspective.
